Description:
Axle vent valve. Discharges built up gasses within the 7.5 or 8.8 straight axle assembly. Prevents pressure from building up inside the axle which could lead to leaks or gear oil discharge at pinion or rear cover seal. Also keeps out the elements from mixing with the gear oil within the axle.
OEM replacement for bad/damaged or non-functioning valve.
